Changing the Cable

Our In-Ears are delivered with a plug-in connection. In the case of a cable break, the cable can therefore be easily replaced.

Important: The cables should not be disconnected from the In-Ear unnecessarily often, as this will impair the firm hold of the plug connection over time.

The following video shows you step by step what you need to consider when changing the cable:

Below you can find the individual steps again in text form:

1. First unplug the old cable and firmly grasp the connector with thumb and index finger. Pull the cable out with slight tilting movements parallel to the faceplate (flat shell surface). Avoid strong angulations to prevent the pins on the miniature connectors from breaking.
2. Now grab the new cable. The letters L and R must point in the direction of the sound channel, so that they point towards the face when worn and cannot be seen.
3. Ensure out for slight tilting movements and gently push the cabel in. It is important that the pins are inserted straight into the connector, so that they do not tilt and possibly bend or break off.
4. If most of the pins are already inserted, you can press carefully with a little more pressure until the connectors are fully inserted.

The cables of our In-Ears are very robust and proven worldwide by many top acts. If you always conscientiously have a few spare strings or sticks in your luggage, you should not be careless here either!
