How to change the mesh

Some VE In-Ears have a mesh at the sound exit to protect the sound channel from cerumen. If the mesh is getting dirty, it can be easily replaced.

Meshes can be found on the following models:

  • VE10 Universal
  • Phönix
  • EXT
  • ELYSIUM Universal
  • EVE20
  • ERLKöNIG

Below you can find the individual steps again in text form:

  1. You need new meshes, a pointy tweezers and an alcohol pad / cloth for cleaning.
  2. Take the tweezers to remove the old mesh. Check the surface of the mesh to find a grip with the tweezer and simply pull it off.
  3. Use the tip of the tweezers to carefully remove glue remains and cerumen.
  4. Now take the alcohol pad or a cloth moistened with alcohol solution to clean the nozzle. Important: hold the In-Ear upside down so that no liquid can get into the ear canal.
    Let the liquid dry briefly.
  5. Now take a new mesh with the tweezers. Make sure that the sticky side is facing the correct way.
  6. Now place the new mesh in the center of the nozzle and press it firmly with your finger.
